Since 2011 Winter Village Music has brought the best in progressive and traditional string music to Ithaca for a variety of weekend winter music camps and festivals, along with concerts and special music events throughout the year. Until 2025, our weekend camps and festivals have been hosted at the lovely La Tourelle Inn.  Now under new ownership, La Tourelle will be undergoing renovations during the winter of 2025, so not available for hosting Winter Village.

In 2025, on January 10th through the 12th, Winter Village Music Camp will move downtown Ithaca be jointly hosted by the Community School of Music & Art for workshops and concerts and the adjacent Canopy by Hilton and Stand Cafe for food and accommodations.  While we will miss the cozy scene at La Tourelle, we are very excited about the move downtown and the opportunity to build a vibrant partnership with CSMA and Canopy while enjoying all that our downtown hotels, restaurants and bars have to offer
